Just one more...

Here is my absolute last post about Pittsburgh...somehow that makes me REALLY sad. I have so enjoyed sharing all our adventures while in Pittsburgh. I will always look back on our time in Pittsburgh with such fond and happy memories. We made such great friends and I am so grateful for blogs and Facebook so I can keep in touch with them all. We sure love you Pittsburgh!

Primary Water Activity

We were so happy they had the annual Primary Water Activity before we left Pittsburgh. It is one of my (and the kid's) most favorite Primary Activity. Andrew and Jackson had to much fun...Anne was a bit bummed she couldn't do all the water activities but was still a good sport. We are so happy we could do one more really fun ward activity before we left our wonderful Pittsburgh friends.

Andrew loved this activity. They had dunk pant into a huge bucket of water, put them on, then race down and back. It was hilarious to watch.

Klavons Ice Cream

OK, I seriously thought I had all the pictures off my camera from Pittsburgh but it seems I was wrong. A few weeks before we left I discovered Klavon's Ice Cream. I really wish I had found this place sooner. Klavon's is a old fashion soda fountain. They have been around for years. I think they opened originally in 1929 or around there as a Pharmacy. The owner's kids decided to reopen as a ice cream shop. I am grateful they did. This time was our second time there in two weeks. We thought it would be fun to take Brigg there as he just graduated from Pharmacy school and they had all the old Pharmacy items on display. One of the owner's even took Brigg and Zac in the back to show them some really cool stuff. The brothers and sisters that run the place are so nice and friendly. At one point Jackson dropped his ice cream on the ground and she ran back to get another for him. When he started crying after he had finished that one she brought him another one...on the house. So sweet.

They had this really cool old fashioned phone booth in the back. The lady asked if I knew what that was...I'm not that young!

They had a really neat painted wall in their parking lot. Hava decided that Zac and I needed to learn how to do jumping pictures. I think we are naturals.

Cooper's Rock State Park

Right before we moved Hava and Brigg moved down to Morgantown, West Virginia. We helped them move in one weekend then the next Monday we went back down to go to Cooper's Rock State Park. It turned out being amazing. We went on a short hike but mostly the kids crawled around on the HUGE rock formations in the park. They loved it. I was surprised that I quite enjoyed myself too. I am not usually into hiking but I had a lot of fun.

One more time at Lake Erie

I almost forgot to tell you all about our last visit to Lake Erie. It was a few days after Anne had broken her arms so she was pretty bummed about not being able to go in the water. Thank goodness she brought a book and a soccer ball. Jackson and Andrew on the other hand splashed and played for the entire afternoon. We found out that we have yet another water addicted child. Jackson was in heaven. He loved all the sand and water. The only problem was that he loved drinking the yucky water...

We miss our Luke Luke.
