at long last

After:

5000 miles flown by plane...

1 great week with Grandmas and Grandpas...

1 great Washington bonfire...

1 crazy game of basketball...
212 miles by car...

1 wild and eventful visit with our Fry cousins...

1 attempt at growing a beard....
53+ "Is THIS Pittsburgh?" from Andrew

5+ Fabulous trips to TARGET
1 trip to IKEA
1 month on a full sized bed (even I am too long for a full bed!)
3 weeks of sitting on the floor

2 eventful deliveries to our house (gotta love furniture!)
??? boxes unpacked

1 sad parting with our computer of seven years....

1 wonderful HELLO to our new computer...and

WE ARE FINALLY HERE!!!
We are totally loving Pittsburgh so far. We have memberships to the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Art Museum, and the Children's Museum...the kids are loving the different field trips we are taking. I will try to post some pictures about all our visits. Pittsburgh is wonderful in that is has huge parks. In each of these parks there are at least 2-3 different play grounds. The worst part for the kids is trying to decide which one to visit. Personally I am loving the Carnegie Library System. Everyone is so nice and helpful and let the kids play with all the toys as long as they wanted when we were without our usual toys and books - bless you public library! So far we are loving it. Stay tuned for future adventures...

Gee, Zak, it's kind of a Kieffer Sutherland look. Now, if you could just look desperate, maybe you could get a role in the next "24."

You did it! I actually forgot to check last night, we got home and we all fell in bed and slept...yahoo maps says the drive from our house to your house is 4 hours and 46 minutes but we timed it yesterday and it was only 4 hours and 15 minutes :-) Not bad! Can't wait to visit again.

Yay! So glad to see you arrived in PA and have begun to settle in. Sounds like there are lots of things to do there! And, wow! That's quite a different look for Zac!

Sad to hear we missed you. Nick said one night that like the night or so before Zac had called to get together, but we were busy or something and I was thinking--like, how did you not mention this to me EARLIER?!? I really would have enjoyed catching up in person!

Wow--your life has been eventful. Sorry to hear about the computer. 7 years? Such a sad day, but yippe for a new one. Nick keeps pushing for a Mac and I keep telling him our 4 year old lap top is fine. I guess I'll just have to tell him we still have 3 years left!

Pittsburgh sounds like a fabulous city! Nick's sister and bro-in-law are moving out there in a couple of weeks to go to dental school. He's doing dental school through the Navy.

Anyway, look forward to hearing more about your adventures!
