Reading

My kids love to read. In fact they read so much that we visit the library at least once a week. We are members of a book club and I have the hardest time not buying all the books Anne wants for her...I have to hold myself off until either their birthdays come or until Christmas. I think most of the presents under our tree this year will be books. Anne and I just finished reading "Escape from the Carnival" by Dave Barry. It was a great book about the island of Neverland. Anne loved it and it was easy enough for her to understand. I need to find another capter book to read her!

That is so awesome that they love to read already. My girlies love the Junie B. Jones series! Have you ever heard of it? It has such cute language in it-- just like that of a kid. Also, we give our neices and nephews a book every year for Christmas. I try to get a nice hardback one, that will last.

I must have boys or something because they are all about cars, trains and making messes. I know, I know Joy you are thinking that Buddy is the same way but the only time Colin asks for a book is when sitting on the toilet. Yes I am finally working on potty training. It isn't going well but my goal is his third birthday which gives me about a month. Any ideas, I could use them.
